Investment Option Changes
No Action Required
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING A FUND CLOSING. The PIMCO Total Return Bond Fund (Institutional) will be closed and eliminated from the Kentucky Public Employees’ Deferred Compensation Authority’s (Authority) Spectrum of Investment Options, effective close of business July 16, 2015.
The Board of Trustees (Board) took this action at the March 20, 2015 meeting due primarily to a pattern of significantly elevated levels of investor out flows at the fund level and the impact of this on prospective performance.
If you're currently invested in this fund, it is not necessary for you to take any action. At the close of business on July 16, 2015 any remaining assets in the PIMCO Total Return Bond Fund (Institutional) will automatically be transferred to the MetWest Total Return Bond Fund, Ticker Symbol MWTSX, the newly added replacement fund approved by the Board.
However, if you prefer to move your assets in the closing PIMCO fund to any other fund(s) offered by the Authority, you may do so prior to 4:00 p.m. EDST on July 16, 2015, by using one of the following methods:
