As a Kentucky Deferred Comp participant, you are eligible to rollover outside retirement accounts into your KDC account. Consolidating retirement accounts may make managing your retirement accounts more effective and reduce your administrative costs. Contact a Local Retirement Specialist to determine if your other retirement assets can be combined or consolidated with your KDC account. Congratulations! There are a lot of big decisions when it comes to retirement. First thing to know is that you don't have to do anything with your retirement account. Your account will remain active after retirement, and we offer many options that can support you through retirement. Contact us or schedule an appointment to learn more about your options.

You can take your annual RMD in a lump sum or in partial withdrawals, perhaps in monthly or quarterly payments. Delaying the RMD until year-end, gives you money more time to grow tax-deferred. Regardless of choice, be sure to withdraw the total amount by the deadline to avoid penalties.
